I filled out one of those random 20 things about myself which included my desire to be a cashier at a grocery store so when Min’a came home from the Childrens Museum with a few photos of Elsie’s day I knew we were on the same track… although I realized she was a complete combination of Me AND Mark … she actually does the shopping part first.
Here Elsie is selecting her groceries …
Piling them into her cart…
And finally the best part, scanning them and using the cash register!!
I am not sure what to make of this next shot …
Min’a, our nanny, does so many fun things with Elsie and does a great job capturing their adventures … I am so behind blogging but I promise to get on the ball! Here are some fun shots of Elsie at the park.
Here is our stylin lady … she is not just sporting sunglasses, but she already has ink (a monkey tattoo on her bicep)
down the slide …
Finally smiling for the camera
you can see we are now at 6 teeth – also with 2 molars coming through. I am still crossing my fingers that the teeth between the molar and the front actually exist!
Carolyn Fish (our neighbor) was kind enough to let Elsie go for a spin in her Jeep! Elsie immediately wanted to pick up Saffie for a trip around the block…
Once Saffie was in, Mark gave Elsie a few tips on driving including how to always use cruise control.
Elsie pulled a few Papa tricks by driving without hands, fortunately she kept both of her eyes open
Saffie, was not impressed, and picked up the CB to alert an adult that Elsie was being a Wild driver!
I am pretty sure we are in for a rough time when we hit the t(w)een years!
A couple of weeks ago we headed up to Vail for a weekend of Skiing. The house we were staying at didn’t really have a great sledding area, so with the help of Isabelle, Quinn, and Grammie we crafted our own. We shoveled snow into our parking lot just under a mini hill. It actually worked out quite well – and Elsie LOVED IT. She is quite the little dare devil when it comes to sledding – she holds on for dear life!
