Veggies!

Poor Mark … this year I had a crazy idea to sew felt veggies for fun – this was going to be such a great kid friendly gift. I bought a pattern on Etsy (beware … do NOT hook etsy up to your paypal account … it is way to easy to buy buy buy!) and decided to test my sewing skilz (yes, that’s with a Z because I don’t actually have any skills to speak of).

We sewed carrots …

carrots

Onions (or garlic, we couldn’t tell)

onions?

Potatoes

potatoes

tomatoes

toms

(we also made avocados, but they were pretty weird). We put a collection of veggies in a basket for Kai Peterka …

Our ambitions of many baskets will have to wait till we up our skilz.

Mandy, those are darling! You don’t give yourself enough credit.

hi!! i love your blog!
i need help in terms of printing though!
I love the bday party you did and although i am going a different route, i am designing my own invitations….i’m trying to print on my home ink jet printer from photoshop on 6.25×6.25 cardstock paper- and although it prints well, it won’t print the very bottom of the invite or the boarder….any idea why?

and…if i need to print from a print house, where do you suggest going? where did you have the invites printed for elise’s party?

thanks so much!
please e-mail me!!
thank you thank you!

also any suggestions for ‘activites’ for a one year old party…..
although its cute and fun, i don’t want anyone to get ‘bored’ haha!
