We got the girls some fun sunday cheer outfits for their favorite football team… THE BRONCOS!
The girls sat in the prime seats to watch the big game
There were a few good moments…
Amy helped Saffron cheer since she is still developing her neck muscles
Elsie wondered why she didn’t get a beer in her beer cozy
here she is doing her a final cheer
Yes, her team let her down today – but she is no fair weather fan, she knows she looks super cute in orange and blue!! Go Broncos!
Shelley gave us this cute outfit a few months ago and Elsie is finally fitting into it (well the pants are still a bit big) – as you can see she thinks she looks pretty cute!
we met up with some of our birthing class families for a picnic in the park – Elsie is the oldest and Sydney (to the left is the youngest)
From elsie (around clockwise), sydney, kyla, hazel, ryan.
We got the jumperoo because we read about all of the fun of the saucer and the jumperoo combined into one. The contraption takes up a large part of our living room and is really cramping our clean lines. We contemplate putting the thing out of site until we see this…
miss giggles
followed by miss schleeeeepy pants!
I have noticed that my cingular service S-U-C-K-S! In Kauai there were times when scott, jul and mark had all bars and I had no service. We suspected that my crappy cell service forcefield was the issue, but we stopped into Apple just to be sure. They couldn’t diagnose the issue so they just replaced the phone, which I was happy to do. While I was answering a number of questions (did I ever hear an echo while talking, was the service poor at the boulder reservoir, when I played strawberry fields forever backwards did I hear anything spooky) dad and elsie were having more fun with photobooth and the new very beautiful iMacs.
Yes its soo fun to see yourself on screen!!
today we headed to the mall for some shoppin with grammie and grampa – Elsie didn’t love looking at clothes and was on the edge of a melt down so grammie kept moving along. We decided to stop into the Apple store to give elsie a look at, well all of that awesome-ness! Grammie showed her the new iMacs – she was IMPRESSED (and giggled in delight!)!
So was grandpa!
(note dad in the background, surveying the cost of all of the new things Elsie will be begging for!)
We had some friends from our Birthing class, Tara and Dan, over last friday for dinner and a chance for Kyla and Elsie to meet.
We had a wonderful night chatting about life and of course the babies! Dan has one of the coolest side jobs – he runs a company called Trip Data which crafts your dream vacation for you. We asked if he could plan an Amazing Race style trip for a group of us! (Now I just need to befriend some rich-pants to fund the trip)
We look forward to more outings with Kyla!!
while mark and I slave away at our jobs, little miss elsie bean is off having a grand time with Bernie! Bernie brought the camera a few days to document the very hard life of a baby:
Swing Time
Laying in the grass on a blanket, Flowers in her hair
snuggling her little doggy
And sitting in her bumbo
Oh to be a baby!
Today Elsie turned 5 months old and is continuing to develop her Pterodactyl cries. Today I was going to take her to the circus to celebate this momentous day, but I couldn’t find a suitable one nearby, so we celebrated by staying in and watching a movie. Dad has a beer and Elsie just finished her milk (or “miwolk” as we like to call it around here)
She was really enjoying the movie for about 20 seconds… then she gets bored and focuses on the camera. I must admit, “The Cave” really isn’t the best B-movie I’ve seen, so I applaud her taste. She probably read the NY Times review and made up her mind.
Here is her video
